Equipment Types

We represent everything from the simplest Weight Indicators to extremely powerful Weight Based Controllers that function as Weight Indicators, Programmable Logic Controllers, and Computers all in one package. We have all the latest communication interfaces – both hardwired and wireless. We have Intrinsically Safe and Explosion Proof Weight Indicators for Hazardous Area installations. We have battery powered Weight Indicators for portable applications. We have Unattended Systems for Motor Truck Scale and other applications. Some Weight Indicators are specialized for Checkweigher applications with graphic Under/Accept/Over displays. These are covered in our Checkweigher section. Other Weight Indicators are industry specific such as Agricultural, Food Service, Health (Personal or Clinic/Hospital), or Parcel/Postal. These are covered in their respective sections. Communication Interfaces available
  • Serial Interfaces include RS232C, RS422, RS485, and 20mA Current Loop. These are commonly used for interfacing with Printers, Remote Displays, and Computers.
  • Analog Output is commonly used to interface Programmable Logic Controllers.
  • Profibus® DP, DeviceNetTM, InterBus, ControlNetTM, ModBus Plus, Remote I/O, LonWorks, USB, and Ethernet 10/100 – (ModBus/TCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DHCP, and Ethernet/IPTM) are used to interface Programmable Logic Controllers and Computers.
  • Pulse Inputs (TTL level 0-5 VDC) are available for conveyor belt speed monitoring, etc.
  • A wide variety of keyboard, wedge, scanner, RFID, etc. interfaces are available.
  • Relay (dry contact) and solid state Triac (for example, Opto 22) interfaces are available.
  • QuartzellTM digital Load Cell interfaces are available.SensorCommTM digital Junction Box interfaces are available.
  • Fiber Optic interfaces for Hazardous Area installations are available.
  • RS232C Radio Modems, Bluetooth®, and Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) wireless interfaces are available.
  • Serial, CompactFlash, and USB thumbdrive data logging/storage interfaces are available.
